PGL Major Antwerp 2023 was the 17th Major Championship tournament for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive game. It took place in Antwerp, Belgium, in May 2023.

Tournament Format

The PGL Major Antwerp 2023 followed the same format as previous Major tournaments. The tournament consisted of three stages: the Challengers Stage, the Legends Stage, and the Champions Stage.

Challengers Stage

The Challengers Stage featured 16 teams, eight of which were invited based on their performance in the previous Major tournament and the other eight of which qualified through regional qualifiers.

The teams in the Challengers Stage were divided into two groups of eight teams each. The teams in each group played a round robin format, and the top two teams from each group advanced to the Legends Stage.

Legends Stage

The Legends Stage featured 16 teams, eight of which were the top teams from the Challengers Stage and the other eight of which were the top teams from the previous Major tournament.

The teams in the Legends Stage were divided into two groups of eight teams each. The teams in each group played a round robin format, and the top three teams from each group advanced to the Champions Stage.

Champions Stage

The Champions Stage featured eight teams, the top three teams from each group in the Legends Stage.

The teams in the Champions Stage were placed in a single-elimination bracket. The winner of the Champions Stage was crowned the champion of the PGL Major Antwerp 2023.
